Dental Crowns/Bridges

This is a two-step procedure, where you will leave your appointment with a temporary crown, and return shortly after to have your new crown permanently seated. We have a long-standing relationship with an exceptional lab that utilizes the most up-to-date scanning technologies. We take your shade in-office, or customs shades can be obtained at our lab for a smile line that is more difficult to match. It is important to us that your new dental crown beautifully matches the rest of your smile.
Dental Implants / Implant Restorations
Whether you have had to remove a tooth because of infection, injury, or decay, or if your tooth was congenitally missing, dental implants may be the right choice for you. Essix Retainers
To ensure proper continuous placement of your teeth, Dove Family Dentistry offers Essix Retainers which are clear, removable retainers that fit over the entire arch of your teeth. Unlike traditional retainers, Essix Retainers do not have any metal wires and are practically invisible. We like these retainers because they are easy to wear, quite durable, and very affordable. Night Guards
Bruxism (or teeth grinding) is the root cause of temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) and the wearing down of tooth enamel. To battle the painful effects of bruxism, the next step is to get fitted for a night guard. A night guard is a custom-made device, made out of clear plastic, that fits the unique contours of your mouth and teeth. The immediate goal is to bring relief and to prevent erosion that can occur from constant gnashing and grinding. Most of the time bruxism happens when you are unaware at night or in stressful moments during the day. A night guard will help to relax your jaw muscles and keep your mouth comfortable long term.

Preventive Dentistry

We like to see our patients every six months to eliminate plaque and potential trouble spots, and in some instances, we’d like to see our patients more frequently so we can address any ongoing concerns before they turn into bigger problems.
